Observation details

Continuing rarity. Injured individual with a broken bill, likely a window strike victim, but thankfully seems to be doing well so far given the circumstances. Very, very skulky. First spotted down by the creek at around 10:20. Made a brief appearance at 10:30 and I managed to get a few photos. It perched in the open on an American Pokeweed for a nice moment before flying back over the creek and vanishing. Repeatedly heard its chip call over the next period of time, but I never saw it again. Lifer!!
