Observation details

Yay! Found a spot, finally, where I have great scope views. Five birds in tight clump. One very white, probably male , with grayish smudge by cheek and along top of head. One is a dark female type with mostly dark head with white teardrop around eye area. The other three have very whitish faces with dark coming up around top of head. Each slightly different smudge pattern on face. PS - above was written in field. I didn't bring my camera when I hiked to this spot. I tried taking digiscope pictures which I'm terrible at. I don't know the technique. Unfortunately none of these added photos are very focused or clear, but the scope views of these birds were great. And photos help the record.
