Observation details
Small, white Egret with two obvious feathers coming from rear of head area. Similar looking to Snowy Egret but definitive long head feathers, greyish lores (in comparison to Snowy Egret) and bill. In photos note head feathers & bill / lores in comparison to nearby Snowy Egret & Great Egret. Spent several hours looking for this bird. Located it in Shearness pond around 5:15 pm in amongst a group of Snowy Egret, Great Egret and a few Glossy Ibis. It was being harassed by a 'displaying' Snowy Egret.
