Observation details
I believe these were all Ferruginous Hawks. All 3 hawks were on the ground by each other in the part of the dog town just south of the parking lot, feeding on a prairie dog. Medium/large sized hawks, shaped like a Buteo. 2 of the birds had visible orange/reddish plumage on back, shoulders, flanks and tail. The third bird appeared to be an immature with more brownish plumage on the back and end of tail.. All 3 appeared to have minimal marking on their bellies as far as I could tell. They all had noticeably white coloration in their primaries in flight. See photos.
