Observation details
The wrens nested in a bird house located on a shelf approximately 5ft above the ground and situated btwn a chimney and the side of a house. They were carrying food into the bird house. No nestlings were observed. One adult would vocalize periodically. Twice, each adult was seen removing a fecal sac - total of 4. Each adult with one and repeated about 20 minutes later. I was amazed at the frequency and amount of food brought back to the nest. Observed the same behavior the next couple of days. Two days later there was no more activity.
