Observation details

Female off the point loosely with Common Eider flock, drifting on water for 5 min then took off with flock. Lighter brown, more tawny than the dark cinnamon of Common, with distinctly different head, neck and bill shape—rounder head with steep forehead, smaller bill feathered much of the length.
