Observation details
Very rare. Seen sitting on the wire at this location a couple hours prior but only fleetingly glimpsed. On return pulled over for a closer look. Small size immediately noted along with more sandy/dusky coloring. Wingtips didn’t extend past the tail, pale edging on primaries. Accidentally flushed and seen in flight, very minimal white flash on the wings. Landed back on the wire. Seen at pin. Many photos
