Observation details
This raven waited until one of the Common murre adults flew off and then it quickly moved in squawking a lot. I've included a series of pictures to show the unrelenting attack that took about 2 minutes. The raven eventually walked into the nest cavity but it did not emerge with egg or chick. Seemed late in the season for an egg and it was not in there long enough to eat a chick (so I think!).
