Observation details
Viewed a male for quite a long time. Northwest side between the dam and the marshy area where there is usually mud on the trail. Male was classic plumage. Moving around in a large tree by the side of the trail. We originally thought we had a pair but upon reviewing photos realized there was also a male Black-headed Grosbeak in the tree. Likely the female was also a Black-headed. The photo is not the best. Observed by both of us with excellent views if not photos.
