"On December 27, 2019, Ferit Başbuğ and I went birdwatching in the Kızılırmak Delta near Basra/Samsun. At the time, I didn’t get a chance to closely examine the photos. However, yesterday while revisiting them, something special caught my eye—an impressive Great Skua (Stercorarius skua)! Nature always has hidden surprises, even in photos we took years ago." "27 Aralık 2019 tarihinde Ferit Başbuğ ile Basra/Samsun yakınlarındaki Kızılırmak Deltasında kuş gözlemine gitmiştik. O zamanlar fotoğrafları detaylı inceleme fırsatım olmamıştı. Ancak dün tekrar gözden geçirirken gözüme çok özel bir şey çarptı—muhteşem bir Büyük Korsan martı (Stercorarius skua)! Doğa, yıllar önce çektiğimiz fotoğraflarda bile gizli sürprizler barındırıyor."
