Observation details
Species total is the sum of our maximum one time count at Grass Creek mudflats as they were first exposed and 40 on Ned's Rock that we were confident were not with the Grass Creek flock. Saw at least three flagged birds: two with green flags and one with yellow, all left leg. Good photos of one show it was 1PE, also had a silver band on lower right and a orange color band upper right. Jim may have the numbers for the second green flag bird. We could not get the numbers on the yellow flag bird, but did see it also had a red flag, apparently unnumbered, on the lower left leg on the tarsometatarsus, the yellow flag was above the tibia. Jim thought both flags looked quite fresh, and speculated it was marked this last winter.
