Observation details
Bunting sized bird was loosely associating with the Painted Bunting and the White-crowned Sparrow. As the photo shows this bird had a thick bill, noticeable buffy wing bars, splotches of blue on its back and flanks, and a buffy breast. This bird looked different from the Lazuli Bunting that Peter Schneekloth photographed earlier in the day.
