Observation details

Nice surprise at the NE fields early. First got on it while it was foraging peacefully with other sparrows on the path just north of field 41. When a Kestrel came through low, the bird flushed and flew right over my head before settling in a tree where it kept making alarm calls. After it calmed down it dropped down to the edge of field 40 and resumed foraging. Big chunky sparrow with boldly patterned face and clean white chest except for one central black dot.
