perched chip calls; interval shortened at 0:17; exposed perch from 2 m up on top of a small mesquite in a cienega; sounds like more than one, and there were multiple birds in the area;
Observation details
one in a slightly different spot perhaps "new", but strong impression in general on this and recent visits, that many continuing individuals; mostly silent, one perched bird giving chip notes; seen well, variable from almost no yellow (a weak wash) to extensive bright yellow and big rusty shoulder;
