Observation details
Continuing bird from 9/29/24, first located by Sid Wood and posted on FB. Farnans first out this morning to try and relocate and they did. Joined shortly after with many other friendly birders. Juvie bird. Seen among SEPL and Killdeer. Slender body with Buffy tones all over included the breast and belly lighter a bit on belly with then darker buff undertail. Back pattern appears very scaly due to white fringing on the mantle and scapulars. Wing tips long extending past tail and short pretty straight bill. Yellow with orange undertone legs. South migration with persistent feeding nature along the rocky shoreline often dipping out of sight between the rocks. Photos to be added
