Observation details
Beefy, Teardrop shaped columbiforme with long tapering tail. Grey overall with green nape observed in flight. Bicolored yellow-black bill. Originally viewed at 43.5994367, -116.0517262 flying between middle and northmost drainage area (there are three drainages here with the northmost one being the last patch before hitting the full forest). Walked up the drainage in an attempt to find with no avail. Later while going down the middle drainage, observed bird flying fast where it eventually landed in the smallest southern-most drainage. Able to get a few photos for documentation as it flew again. Unsure if the bird is chaseable but starting at the coordinates given may give others the best shot. Otherwise, the road up to the IBO site has decent views of all three drainages from afar but a scope may find the bird perched if it hangs around.
