Observation details

Intermediate colored immature. Traveling south to north loosely behind terns. Flight style immediately apparent-- elegant, much more buoyant tern-like flight than PAJA. Small bodied and long winged but heavier in the chest. Tail overall long relative to body, with blunt tipped central retrices extending. Flying behind tern flock but not aggressively pursuing.
