Observation details

There were three plovers in the puddles at the top of the hill, in a mud field. Looking at the comparison between black-bellied and golden, these look more like golden plovers (non-breeding plumage), but I'm not certain of the ID. We heard them peep but I could not get a recording. My pics are really low res and far away; I'm adding one taken by @dundee - he has a longer zoom and sharper pics.
