Observation details
I know this is a rare sighting, but I am strongly led to believe this is accurate. Earlier this year we saw and had confirmed a red-shouldered hawk nearby. Sound id picks it up as a red-shouldered hawk. They are soaring very high above with poor lighting, but I will try to upload any pictures if any of them turned out. They were also being harassed by other birds early in the encounter. In a second sound id it pinged the red-shouldered hawk. Photo didn't take, but features were clear in the zoom. 3 soaring together. White spotting under wings. Light belly, so not turkey vultures. Will upload the photos later.
