Observation details
Big, nonstop movement N for 70 minutes from the time I arrived. Then became a trickle. No doubt they were moving before I arrived. Conservative estimate based on periodic timed counts. Wonderful show as, due to the strong NW winds, they were flying closer to shore than usual and arcing high over the ocean Pterodroma-style, flashing their white underwing patches in the sunlight. Could not detect any other tubenose species this morning.
