Observation details
I could hear hooting coming from the east side of the park soon after I arrived, so I quickly hiked over to where it was coming from. High in the trees, I could see three big birds: one owl being harassed by two ravens. Photos in some broken direct sunlight. Viewed facing west from location 47.78930° N, 122.38322° W. Eventually the ravens left and the owl found a shadier roosting spot high in a tall tree, nestled near the trunk. Looked directly at me a couple times. Also preening its talons. Photos in lesser sunlight. Viewed facing north from location 47.78922° N, 122.38327° W.
