Observation details

This was a tan, medium-sized sandpiper with small head, relatively long legs, elongated posteriorly by wings and presumably tail (but I couldn't separate the two visually given the distance and light conditions), with a short, thin, pointy bill. Bill too thin, pointy, and short for alternative, more desired species, Ruff. Very poor photos are included to help support documentation.
