Observation details

The main identification feature was the unmistakable call (song) that was clearly heard and recorded. This recording is added and is audible, though not very clear because it is drowned by the sound of a gushing waterfall and stream. (Based on Macaulay's guidelines, the file has not been processed apart from normalization. However, a version of the recording file is further processed to reduce noise and add Gain to improve audiibility is available on xeno canto: https://xeno-canto.org/933683) Though managed to see the bird very fleetingly, could not easily observe features that would reliably distinguish it from another similar leaf warbler species.
