Observation details
Noticeably smaller than adjacent Double-crested Cormorants with a proportionally longer tail. All dark underparts. Compared to Double-crested Cormorants, the gular pouch appeared more limited and sharply angled posteriorly, as well as being bordered by a narrow white line. The bill appeard relatively shorter than that of Double-crested Cormorants. The lores were dark.
