Observation details

It was found by Marion & Terry Schiefer. Dainty shorebird that was mostly white with a gray back. The bill was black and thin. There was a dark eye mark, and the top of the head had a cap. The grayish-black back had whitish lines. Terry thought some back feathers had buff edges, but I could not see this with my scope. So, it is either an immature bird transitioning into the winter plumage or an adult already in winter plumage. I will upload some photos, but Wayne and Terry took photos with better cameras and longer lenses. Hopefully, they will upload good-quality images.
