Observation details

Hidden high in cedar, calling loudly and intermittently on both sides of Old Sadler Rd here 33.73594,-96.83289. In the field, I initially tied the call to a slurred whistle by Alder, but after later reviewing Xeno-canto it was not matching. [Very similar to Brinkman's Acadian recording XC807573 Miami Township (near Cleves), Hamilton Co (OH).] Observed slurred two-note high pitched calls for about 15min trying for photo was never seen. Merlin not responding with ID.
