Observation details
Female and (likely) adult male foraging together in Cottonwoods near pond below dam. Female had plain green back, muted dark crown, muted black neck and upper chest. All white lower chest, belly and undertail coverts. Face was bright yellow with muted dark line through and behind eye and also around eye. Dark thin bill. Adult male was analogous except its black markings were much bolder and darker. No yellow on chest for either bird.
