Observation details
Other voices identified by Merlin: Sardinian Warbler (audio 4) - Merlin can, I can't tell based on a single short trill. Kingfisher (audio 3) - possible but hard to tell from the two notes on record, there were a few more before that (before I could press Record). Would fit a common 4-note Kingfisher verse Firecrest (audio 1) - possible, same location as yesterday, again a duet. Spotted Flycatcher - maybe, have to check. Eurasian Treecreeper?? (audio 2) - Can't tell. I have a (not fact-based) feeling that in this maritime area Short-toed would be the "default" treecreeper. Also heard: Green Woodpecker (not quite sure). Chiffchaff or Chaffinch call. Also seen briefly flying away: Buzzard? Appeared pale brownish.
