Observation details
I had seen this bird several times when reviewing feeder camera footage from yesterday evening, so I was on the alert for it. It showed up at the feeder again early this morning and I was able to see it for myself. The bird appeared to be a bit smaller than a house finch and had a green unmarked back, a paler and yellower front, with slightly darker wings. Its bill was fairly heavy, and longer than a house finch's. The lighting isn't great, but I am attaching stills from the feeder camera that show enough of what we saw.
