Observation details
There were two Cormorants on the pond of the 18th Fairway. Just as I spotted them, one prepared to take flight. I was able to quickly take a couple of shots. Then, the second Cormorant took flight. Because these were the first Cormorants that I'd seen here in Meadowlakes, and it had been awhile since I'd observed any at all, I consulted Merlin to assist in identification. However, I "thought" they were the same species. Looking back at them now, I realize that one was a Neotropic Cormorant and the other was a Double-crested Cormorant. My mistake has been corrected on the checklist count, as well as the photographs.
