Observation details
Unexpected! Watching Redstarts along railway line when this flicked up next to them. Fresh wings, tail and remnants of gape (?) imply a migrant juvenile. Completely silent. Great views on/off for around half an hour after as the bird fed in the middle and tops of Bramble, Broome, Gorse and Bracken. I've never seen one in this context, so obvious behaviour including flicking wings and tail was rather unexpected. Like a Chiffchaff.
