Media notes

Interesting recording of a BDOW duet, recorded near the north end of the pedestrian tunnel under North Hills Drive, East Fork / Mine Creek Trail, approximately 20:00 on June 29, 2017. Sound is marred by constant AMRO alarm calls, traffic noise, and a police siren at the end (which hushed the two Barred Owls)

Observation details

Heard and briefly saw two at north end of North Hills tunnel, 19:55. First owl had lower voice than the second one to arrive. They flew close together and made those monkey-like sounds. I called like a Barred Owl to attract them.
