Observation details

It spins and moves And jabs and dabs, It's movements herky jerky. Here a bird, it's status is Mostly wish and hope. But there it is, upon the water A Red necked Phalarope! ID-- Shorebird, gray above , white below. Floating, spinning, dabbing. Medium thin dark bill. Black patch thru eye/face. Diffused rusty hue on hind neck. Streaked back.
