Observation details

At the mouth of the Mount Hope River. Small white heron, walking next to roosting mergansers for scale. Greenish yellow legs, grayish blue bill. Crappy digiscoped photos. Legs rule out snowy, and bill rules out cattle egret. Pretty far away with atmospheric shimmer so this was a pretty tough call.
