Observation details
I was walking through the woods when I heard a loud drumming sound. I thought it was a PIWO and that I should be able to easily spot it. After looking a few minutes, I found a tree from which I believed the drumming sound to be coming from. I initially thought it might be a RBWO in the nest cavity. I was a bit surprised when I saw the PIWO. Made a mental note to check the cavity on subsequent visits.
