Observation details
Given the narrow, incomplete eyering, lengthy primary projection, and, perhaps most importantly, narrow pale edges of the tertials transitioning fairly abruptly to the dark interior, I strongly suspect this to be an Alder Flycatcher. If I could assume that only western subspecies of Willow Flycatcher were reasonably possible here and now, I'd be more comfortable identifying this bird to species. However, as E. t. traillii could conceivably occur, I likely shouldn't.
