Observation details
Medium-sized duck (a little larger than a BWTE) with a prominent white-cheek patch contrasting an otherwise greenish head. White cheek patch extends slightly around the eye into the lores. Black posterior similar to a Gadwall. Well-defined scapular feathers also reminiscent of the Gadwall. Thanks to Ezra for reminding me to update this observation and helping with the ID!
