Observation details

A single individual was found along the beach and was rescued by the stranding network Life Savers. We were in Galgibag and reached the spot to verify the identity of the species while Kusta Korgaonkar from the Marine Division also reached at the same time. The bird was pat-dried and secured for transport to Reef Watch for further treatment and possible rehabilitation.
