Observation details

A mobile video posted in our group by Akhil Ashok informing us about the Frigatebirds so I went there along with Akhil(this time he also carried camera) after searching the beach for a good 10 mins we found the adult looking bird roosting on a coconut tree while the younger one came back flying from the north side of the beach. We tried to get as many as possible flight shots of the juvenile bird but the adult looking bird didn't bother to fly as it looked exhausted. On the size wise it looked big but it's not that big to consider as great(got some pics in which a crow got close to one of the bird). So we knew it could be either lesser or Christmas. After sharing the pics with Mr.Dipu karuthedathu who's an expert in pelagic birds, he felt this could be Christmas. Attaching all the available images for reference
