Media notes

A Sumicrast’s Wren responds to playback by approaching and singing in the heavily vegetated karst understory near the edge of some nice hill forest. Recorded with an iPhone 13 mini, using Voice Record Pro 7.

Observation details

heard singing RPB in lower extension of forest on slope, seen well RPB low, under 2 m. on rocks and roots inside forest; after having heard birds well this morning (elsewhere), it was a special treat, ultimately, to be able to WATCH this elusive inhabitant of the limestone karst as it hopped around and sang! Another Grebe lifer!
