Observation details
Continuing at this spot on the river. Counted most I could at one time. Small white terns, quick wingbeats, in-flight they had frequent stops to turn and dive for fish. A few were close to the end of Piasa Island but most stayed more to the far side and heading up river out of view behind the island. One flew very close right in front along the road. Yellow bill, black cap with white forehead. Photos of the closest one.
