Observation details
Continuing. A 1st generation hybrid of BWWA & GWWA. This bird appeared to be the same individual I photographed on May 26, 2023, and again on May 21, 2024. Others also photographed this individual on the WSO FT I lead on June 1, 2024. It was also singing the same song - a typical GWWA song. The bird was all gray backed, with white underparts (including throat and upper breast - no yellow below), and lacked a black mask - like GWWA but had a black eye line from the bill to just behind the eye - like BWWA. It also had a bright yellow crown and bold yellow wing bars - like GWWA. Photos TBA
