Observation details
First time ever, that this area has been used by red-headed. Pair both visiting nest hole. Just chased hairy away. Watched them feed young insects they hunted on newly mown grass. And return to nest hole . These pictures were taken 6/30/24. This is the stub where nest is located. There are several more Red-headed nesting at end of Hazelhurst Lane.
