woah! didn’t know this hybrid existed. continuing bird found by Alex Haza. at the eastern-most edge of the beach before being flushed to the break wall. smoky head that got more whitish towards the base of the beak. beak was yellowish at the base with black markings and had a black tip. wings were dark gray, like the color of a Laughing Gulls’ wings, long black primaries w no white spotting. legs were grayish. photos
