Observation details
**MEGA found by Michael Sadat. The adult was singing very steadily when I arrived. Song is a pure plaintive "PEEaweeeee" in the 4000-5000 KHz frequency range. Michael and I had it very close where we stood. It then traveled upslope a good distance off and sung a fair bit and perching on dead branches or snags. I watched as it foraged often sallying very high straight up from it's perch then dropping loosely back to the snag. I only got one really good visual of the bird up close and I wouldn't have been able to sort it from a WEWP if it were a silent bird. It may have had a lighter belly as we talked about that possibility. I will attach my photos and sound recording; however, they are extremely poor quality.
