Observation details

A total of 42 active nests were counted. Of note this has been a traditional Cormorant nesting site for at least the past twenty years. The Cormorant count for all of Meander would be much higher! Incubation of 3 to 4 eggs lasts about an average of 27 days. We will check for chicks in mid July to Labor Day.
