Observation details
A constant flow of birds coming across from Great Gull Island and either fishing or continuing around the point to ocean. Sometimes easier to ID with my naked eye or with binoculars than in photos. Gleaming white, relatively short wings and shallow wing beats, some with long tail streamers. Some birds showed all dark bills, bills on others sometimes very bright red bases. Typically, gray webs were limited to the three outer primaries (P10, P9, and P8), whereas on COTE gray was most pronounced along the trailing edge and extended to P7 and P6.
