Observation details
Characteristic nuthatch profile - very short tail, white underparts, and a brown head. Many thanks to FWC Biologist Jackie Gomar for the intel and location. Warning - you will be almost waist high in water while crossing a marsh to find these birds. In addition, there is a lot of poison ivy on trail 13. This is the location, which is accessible after taking trail 13 (closed to vehicle travel) roughly 1.2 miles, and then taking a right to cross over through the marsh - 26.883930497304593,-80.3826570466302.
