Observation details
Although this bird has since been positively identified, on this day it was still a mystery bird. It started singing early in the same area, by the picnic tables. Later in the day I heard it singing near the stream when I was by the orchard. Then later it was again singing loudly by the picnic tables. It flew from there (which was the only time I had an extremely brief look at it on this day) and it quickly hopped bush to bush until it was at the ditch by the bench at the back of Corn Creek, which some people call Whiskey Gulch. It obviously then continued on its way.
