Observation details
One crane was hanging out in the snow pile lot and preening in front of a puddle. A painted turtle had left 1918 Marsh to lay eggs and was making its way back to the marsh across the lot. When the turtle passed the crane, the crane appeared to be curious and pecked at and around it for a bit while the turtle retreated into its shell.
